Terms of Service
Last updated: May 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vloud ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including operators, tenants, and visitors.
2. Description of Service
Vloud is a self-hosted server control plane that provides hosting management, application deployment, security monitoring, DNS management, email hosting, and related infrastructure services. The Service is licensed per server and installed on your own infrastructure.
3. Account Registration
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Free Trial
Vloud offers a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required. During the trial, all features are available. After the trial expires, write operations are blocked until a license is activated. Read access to your data remains available at all times.
5. Licensing & Payment
Vloud is licensed per server. Pricing is published at vloud.app/pricing. Payments are processed through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the software
- Circumvent license restrictions or trial limitations
- Resell the Service without a reseller agreement
7. Data & Privacy
Vloud is self-hosted. Your data stays on your servers. We do not access, store, or process your hosted data. The only data we collect is licensing information (machine ID, license status) and account details (email, company name) for billing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Availability & Support
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The cloud licensing server, update distribution, and customer portal may experience downtime for maintenance. Self-hosted engine functionality continues to operate independently of cloud availability.
9. Intellectual Property
Vloud and its components are proprietary software. Your license grants you the right to use the software on the licensed number of servers. You do not acquire ownership of any intellectual property rights in the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vloud shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your license ceases and write operations are blocked. Your data remains on your servers and is not affected by termination. You may export your data at any time.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address on your account. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
